Worked great
By R. Hersey
For this non-homemaker, horrible cook, my very first loaf of honey wheat bread came out delicious. I was totally shocked.

Stylish breadmaker
By S S
Im skeptical when it comes to buying items with only 4 reviews. If it was up to me, I'd go with the panasonic because it has an amplitude more reviews which mostly fit same category. It was a gift from my wife.
I will try to be as objective as I can.
There was no chemical smell upon opening the box. The item was well packaged for it's price. The item fits well with the rest of our stainless steel appliances but Im primarily after it's functions and quality. The construction is not build to the quality of Zojirushi (we have neurofuzzy rice maker) yet it feels the quality is okey. The backing pan is solid and covered with non stick surface. The picture is a bit misleading as the black plastic cover has high gloss finish, not mate. I'm taking one star off due to its limited recipe booklet, which isn't really a big deal if one can use internet. I found a number of bread backing communities with many good recipes.
Now to it's functions. Only the first three functions I will probably find practical. I would recommend buying a digital scale in order to precisely measure ingredients for consistency. So far, I've made french bread, pumpernickel and beer bread and the results were perfect! No artificial cr@p, only organic white/rye flour, spices, water, sold, honey, oil and yest. The bread never tasted so good.
In conclusion, I would be interested to see how long the unit will continue delivering consistent results.
Happy bread making!

After several months of weekly use I came to realize the bread maker's flaws. One of the issues is inconsistency in bread making when using the same ingredients and weights. There was no spoilage or variation in weights because I used the scale to measure. So either the temperature sensor went out or the machine is having an issue with keeping the temperature steady. Another problem, probably related to the same temperature sensor, is the crust control. No matter what, the bread is coming out slightly overdone even on light crust setting. Removing two more stars from the original 4 star rating.
